Summer Willow Fitch supports individuals and families navigating the tender, complicated, and often misunderstood grief that comes with loving and losing a companion animal. Currently pursuing a Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy, Summer brings a relational, trauma-informed lens to pet loss, anticipatory grief, end-of-life support, and the emotional transitions connected to the human-animal bond. With more than 25 years of experience in human-centered leadership, animal care, advocacy, and community support, she creates space for guilt, love, uncertainty, relief, anger, remembrance, and healing without judgment.
Summer offers virtual and in-person pet grief and emotional support for individuals and families who want to honor the depth of their bond with compassion, dignity, and care.
Summer is also the Founder/Host of the Sit. Stay. HEAL. Podcast, where she creates a safe space for honest, compassionate conversations about the many ways our companion animals shape our lives, our healing, and our hearts. Podcast launching July '26.
